GetToThePoint offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

Free Tier

  • 10 summaries per week
  • Basic summarization features
  • Community support
  • No billing required

Premium Subscription

  • Unlimited summaries
  • YouTube video summarization
  • Priority processing
  • Email support

2. Subscription Management

Automatic Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled. You will be charged on the same day each month that you initially subscribed.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • iOS App: Settings → Manage subscription → Cancel
  • Chrome Extension: Extension settings → Account → Cancel subscription
  • Contact Support: Email support@gettothepoint.app

Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period.

3. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new premium subscribers. If you're not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Within 30 days of initial premium subscription
  • Technical issues preventing service usage (verified by support)
  • Accidental duplicate charges
  • Service downtime exceeding 48 hours in a billing period

Refund Exclusions

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Partial usage periods (prorated refunds not available)
  • Subscriptions older than 30 days
  • Change of mind after 30-day period
  • Violation of terms of service
  • Free tier usage (no charges to refund)

4. How to Request a Refund

Refund Request Process

  2. Include your account email and reason for refund request
  3. Provide order/transaction ID if available
  4. Allow 3-5 business days for review and processing

Required Information:

  • Email address associated with your account
  • Subscription start date
  • Reason for refund request
  • Platform used (iOS App, Chrome Extension)

5. Payment Processing

Payment Methods

  • iOS App: Apple App Store (iTunes billing)
  • Chrome Extension: Stripe payment processing

Refund Timeline

  • Stripe payments: 5-10 business days to original payment method
  • Apple App Store: 3-5 business days (processed by Apple)

6. Billing Issues

Failed Payments

If a subscription renewal payment fails, we will:

  • Retry payment up to 3 times over 7 days
  • Send email notifications about failed payments
  • Downgrade to free tier if payment cannot be processed
  • Provide 7-day grace period to update payment information

Disputed Charges

If you see an unexpected charge, please contact us before disputing with your bank. We can often resolve billing issues quickly and help avoid chargeback fees.
